•Speed Run: Top speed is about half the speed of light, though running at this for more than thirty seconds will cause permanent injuries. Can easily break the sound barrier. Struggles to run as fast in denser materials (i.e. Underwater) even though he can run on top of most of them. Can run for up to four hours at supersonic speeds.
•Speed Fight: Can fight at super speed for a limited time. Blows deal less damage, but can't get blocked as easily.
•Speed Learn: Learns and reads at an excelled rate. Can read the dictionary within two hours and remember about two thirds of it.
•Speed Talk: When excited he may slip into talking at a incomprehensible rate. One time he caused a small sonic boom because he was surprised by a friend. Can be understood by other people with minds that comprehend at high rates.
•Speed Work: Can do anything a normal person can do, but at a faster rate (about 25% faster). Reloading, fixing machinery, eating, playing chess, all the generic stuff. 
•Friction Resistance: Can resist the effects of friction. Also affects things he is touching. This is a necessity, or else his clothes would often times burn off of him and...let's just be thankful for this. The most friction he can resist is re-entering or exiting earth's atmosphere. In this his clothes would likely burn off and it would severely injure him, but he would walk away alive.

Brief History: Zip was somehow born a conduit. He hid it away until the blast and lived a fairly normal life. He was born in Jamaica (Oh the irony!) and moved to New Marais when he was five. In his class he was the fastest one in everything (big surprise there) He has become omni-lingual, meaning he speaks every language there is, through reading different dictionaries for different languages. After the blast, Zip began his life as a thief. Pickpocketing people is easy when your moving near the speed of sound. Anyone who got in his way could be easily disposed of. Zip lives in a shack in the swamp land of New Marais. He travels to Empire freely at the speed of sound every once and awhile to check in on the conduit filled city.
Appearance: Zip has the classic Jamaican look. He has dreads that come out from under his green and yellow sock hat. He wears baggy gym shorts and any available t-shirt he can find. Occasionally he goes bare-chested. He is short and very skinny.

Personality: Zip never stops talking or moving. He is hyperactive in everything and gets bored easily. He is a light hearted joker, often using sarcasm. When he gets excited his voice becomes quick and jumbled and he will slip into different languages. He is a guardian of the innocent and often stops thugs, though he is not above stealing from others when he is in a tight spot.
