Conduit Days (join if you like)

Hunter sighed, almost depressingly on the roof he had begun to call home. It was a simple place: a couch, a tv, a bed he made out of a matress, a few poles, and a tarp, and some other amenities he used to spruce the place up. He had his Reaper Conduit jacket on, hood up, Assault Rifle resting beside him. He was lying on the couch, tv off, staring at the sky. He had many feelings running through his mind: Boredom, Sadness, and most importantly, Lonliness. He had no one he knew left in the city, no friends, no family, no nothing. Sure he talked to some of the Reapers occasionally, but that was only when they came to him, not when he came to them. They were always busy with something, and they'd always tell him to "go do something creative."

He had hoped he could get a mission or something today, but no good. So he could do nothing more than to sit there like a lump on a log. He released some water from his body, and began to make it take shapes: A ship, a sword, a broken heart, etc. He eventually got bored, and reabsorbed the water. "I hate today. I hate today so freaking much!" He said to himself with fake vigor.

Simon "Eyes" Anderson, walked through the Neon without his shades on for the first time in a few months. Absorbing what he though was ethier a blast core or a tainted core had fixed his glowing eye problem and enhanced his vision. He could see in night vision, thermal, regular, or zoomed in, simply by wishing to change his view. Only problem was that his eyes changed with the viewing mode, usually back to full out glowing again. Eyes climbed to a rooftop and looked over the whole Neon in thermal vision. So many people, so little space.

On the streets below, 3 reapers began mugging a defenseless woman. Lysander watched from a dark alley. Today had been boring. War couldn't go out, the dust men weren't attacking and the bar was closed for repairs. He didn't usually check up on his loyal, mindless, dumb, drug addicted minions, he just assumed they did their jobs. Very few died today so fat so he decided to watch how a routine mugging went, it was quite possibly the most boring thing he had ever seen. They had cornered a woman abs pointed guns at her, she didn't even fight back, just cowardly backed into a wall and pleaded for them not to hurt her. Lysander learned one thing, these people don't get that they only listen to him. "I hate today. I hate today so freaking much!" He muttered to himself. Easily the most boring day since the blast.

Hunter decided it was time to get up, he couldn't sit on the couch all day. He decided he'd work his depression by roaming around the city. He strepped his assault rifle to his back, and jumped onto the next roof. He loved climbing and running around the Neon, so he believed it woulld cheer him up a bit. After a while of climbing, he was on one of the taller buildings in the area. He sat down on the edge, and watched the people go about their days. "Scurry around little mice, oh please do. But remember, there's always a snake, waiting in the wings. God, am I that bored? Great, now I'm making bad poetry! This day can go burn for all I care!" Hunter jumped off the building, and used Hang Time to form a bubble and float safely to the ground. Once he reached ground level, the bubble popped, and Hunter walked away. He just wished something, anything would happen!

Eyes saw a reaper land on the same building as him, mumble something, and fly away in...a bubble? Conduit Reaper? Not many of those around. With nothing better to do, Simon climbed down the talk building parkour-style and trailed the man.

Mugging still happening... She will die if one of you two don't stop it.

Hunter walked along the alley ways, avoiding the main steets. He wasn't in the mood to deal with pestering pedestrians. He could faintly hear someone walking near him, but chalked it up to his imagination. But then he heard someone crying and whimpering. He turned around a corner, and saw three Reapers mugging some lady. "What is going on here?" He asked, unsure of what exactly was happening.

One of the red clad Reapers told him they were mugging the woman, and not to interfere. Hunter visibly calmed when he heard it was just a mugging. "Phew, you guys had me freaking out there for a second! Well, just make sure you don't kill her, the noise could attract unsavory company. And I'm pretty sure none of us wanna be jumped by either the Dust Men or the Cops, so let's just handle this proficiently." He saw them nod, agreeing with their white clad companion. After a few minutes, the Reapers were done taking what they wanted from her, which was easier since one of them had the brains to knock her onconscious. Hunter saw what looked like another person watching from another alley. He walked to the figure, and asked, "I assume you're the one keeping an eye on these guys?"

Eyes continued to watch the happenings in the alleyway. (('Nuf said))

Hunter acknowledged the appearance of another Reaper. "This turned from a mugging to a back alley congregation! Well, have to scratch boredom of the list." He saw the three consciousless Reapers leave, probably to deposit the goods at the base. "I see they didn't get much off that woman. I swear, these mugings may be easy, since we have the guns and all, but come on, they make it too way freakin easy! I know I shouldn't complain, not like we could go mugging Conduits. That would be a waste of man power, we'd be losing members faster than we could get them." He said, thinking about the circumstances of taking that route.

"Haha, that'd be the day. Mindless drugees taking on people like us, what's next? Vampires walking the earth? Haha, like that would ever happen. Hmm... That reminds me, It's almost Pyre Night in New Marais!" Lysander couldn't believe he almost forgot, it was about a week away, he had to finish business here first AND convince war to go, that would be tough. He quickly got back on track to the situation on hand and saw that his old friend from flood town that almost killed him had arrived and he out of shear reaction, flung tar at him thinking he was someone else. A mistake that might cost him a blast of water to the face. "Oh! Sorry dude, didn't know it was you!" He rubbed the back of his head and closed his eyes and smiled. He was pretty scared about thinking where he'd get hit, that's why his eyes were closed.
