just moping around on the roof (open to any who join)

ED-E walked around, finding a tall building. he used his static thrusters to propel himself up to the cliff, and he then started to climb the building, grabbing onto window ledges, and just ledges in general. he used his static thrusters again to propel himself up higher till he reached the top. he looked around, noticing that this roof was vacant, and there was no way in except for climbing up. he liked this place. this would keep the humans out so that he may relax. he pulled out his sword handle, and with a quick flick of his hand, he summoned the lightning blade to appear out of the handle. he started swinging the blade around, as though he were actually fighting something. he figured this would be a good way to practice his abilities. his hood slipped a bit, but mid-swing, he caught it and returned it back to its position. he wasn't about to let anyone see what he really looked like. not even if no one was here anyways, there could be spies, he thought to himself

She had hoped for silence, though why she was searching in the Neon for it, well Jez had no idea. She swing herself on to the ledge, vaulting up onto the fire escape where she climbed to the next level. It was as decent a building as any, tall and formidable. It seemed a decent place to see the final show and she wouldn't be noticed, though that seemed and unlikely assumption. Where ever she went, she was noticed. Perhaps she deserved it, she deployed bombs for Christ's sake. She had the gasmask pulled overhead, clothes dark so she could slink in the shadows unnoticed. Her skin shivered slightly, it came with the powers, a sort of early warning sign to strong energy. She was an energy-thief, to say in the least, and this bout of it drew her in like a moth to a bug zapper.

She didn't like to call herself a spy, rather an information broker or reconnaissance. But alas beneath her many titles she were pretty much just that; a spy for the first sons. She halted, hands gripping the edge of the building when the light of the electricity momentarily blinded her. She wasn't alone, she crouched low, unsure if she'd been seen though there was nowhere to hide. A conduit, electricity. Interesting. She was hopeless when it came to rich energy. Handgun balanced in her hand at her side just in case. ”Impressive, I suppose.”

ED-E continued to swing his blade around, and as he did this, he charged up his left arm full of electrical power. he swung his blade around again and this time, he shot an electrical shot towards a wall that just so happened to be sticking up higher than the rest. the electricity dispersed as it struck the wall. ED-E was careful to save his power on this trick, since he didn't know what could be around, especially since he felt a strange source of mechanical energy nearby, he ignored it though, knowing that cars had the same energy about them.

She swung over the ledge, landed on the rooftop without another glance at the electrical conduit. She crossed to the other side of the building, looked over the edge. She could see a perfect view of the Neon District screens, bright and iridescent as they glowed and changed. Any minute now, she pondered and looked to her pocket watch. Times like this had her body in a buzz.

"You like fireworks?" She called over to the stranger, not at all interested in whether he understood or not.

ED-E stopped swinging and absorbed the electricity from his sword handle back into his arm. a person? i figured that was the mechanical energy. ED-E looked out from under the hood and said in raspy voice "fireworks? those sound interesting. i haven't seen them for 6 years. not since i was 13." ED-E smiled a bit, but the stranger wouldn't be able to see it because of the hood. "what an odd way to start a conversation."

She eyed him, elbows pressed to the ridge of the roof's edge. She looked over, glad that she picked such a high building though the company definitely made things interesting. Everything felt stuffy, she removed the gasmask, let it hang from her fingers. "You seem like interesting company, 6 years?" She raised an eyebrow, looked once more at her watch and then the screens below. "Well my good sir you are in luck, just in time for the show."

A quick smirk in his direction holding her normal amount of wicked satire. She eyed the watch,"A little early in fact, i like that in a man." She teased, narrowly crafted eyes darting between him, the watch, and the screens below. "Impressive, by the way, got a thing for energy myself."

"energy? oh, i take it you can shoot electrical bolts? or are you the kind that deals with human energy such as emotions?" ED-E asked, still holding his hood steady. he trusted this girl a little bit, but not enough to show his face. "by the way, i have heard it is polite to share introductions upon meeting, whether the meeting be through battle or such times as this. would you mind telling me your name? i will speak mine in return."

"Absorption, actually." She said, stomach resting against the edge of the ledge. She reached out and touched a light bulb in a building sign, it buzzed dead and busted. She pushed away with her elbows, lashed her arm out and a shock wave ate away at the rooftop, scattering just feet away from him. Not powerful enough to actually cause harm, but then again it had been fed by a lightbulb. "Where are my manners, Jezebel is the name. I suppose you have something more interesting than hooded stranger?" She eyed her watch, there was still time.

"my name.. my name is ED-E. or at least, that is what i was called for a while. people call me eddy sometimes, but the name stands for electronic demon eliminator." ED-E said, still hidden behind the hood. "the hood is to hide myself. i look hideous behind the hood. i would hope you understand. by the way, that power is quite something. i think it would prove useful in some cases. all i have is this, and a few other little tricks." ED-E said as he held his left arm up to show the electrical energy surrounding his arm.

"Electronic demon eliminator, awfully specific. Guess we all got our share of strange attributes." She sure had hers. She leaned her back now against the ledge. "All? You'd be a mighty fine bug zapper," She teased, glanced back at the flash of the big screen below. "I'm a living battery, Punch me and i barely feel a thing. Sometimes its nice to feel the pain." She muttered, eyed the watch. Come on, hurry up. She wasn't accustomed to conversation, small talk of any kind. Though she was capable of it, trained to but naturally it managed to only make her feel uneasy inside no matter how well she could hide it.

The busted light bulb caught her eye once more, that small amount could be something small yet impressive. She could only imagine what she could do with all the energy he possessed. She dismissed the thought for her general greed though not completely. She was playing nice, for now. Her hand held up towards him, eyes tracing the streams of electricity feeding off him and the streams fluttered lightly towards her hand like metal to a magnet. She lowered her hand, "Yeah, useful." She muttered lightly. The big screen beneath flickered and faded to black all at once, and then split into static. She smiled, somewhat deviously and looked at the star logo of the First Sons that crackled onto each.

"yeah, a human bug zapper." ED-E looked down at his hand. he was not bothered by the joke, he was accustemed to them. people enjoyed making fun of him, and he did not mind. "you keep checking your watch. i normally would not notice such a small thing, for my eyes are normally hidden behind this hood. but you do so much, it's like i can tell almost instantly when you do it. what are you waiting for exactly jezebel? these fire works that you mentioned earlier?" ED-E raised his head a bit, a slight glare showed through the hoody with an electrical aura "do you plan on hurting people with these fireworks?" ED-E gripped his handle with his right hand, a sharp bolt of electricity shined through it and then out of it. but the bolt was so quick it was almost unnoticable.

ED-E also noticed the sharp feeling that the electricity from around his arm was moving a little differently,was she messing with my electrical power? he thought to himself. he quickly disregaurded that thought, we have only just met. she wouldn't be messing with my electrical powers. she doesn't know my full power, and abosorbing my abilities would be catastrophic to her body as they are to me.

She watched the aggression wake on his features with a satisfied smirk, looked back down to the screens. She smiled back up at him wickedly, "What would I have to gain in hurting these people?" She said, if he attacked her she'd retaliate but otherwise she paid him barely a glance. Her eyes fixed on the screens, speakers screeched with noise and a gasmask appeared beneath the static and the First Sons logo. The noise grew louder and then cut off. A collection of voices echoed through the speakers. They spoke too low, to fast to be legible though the same word was emphasized : fire.

A ten formed on the screens and the countdown began. She eyed the watch one last time, "Just in time for the show."

ED-E's eyes calmed down, the electricity gona away. he was normally better about keeping his anger undercontrol, but he noticed she would be to much of an opponent for him to fight unless he used the Jigoku no arashi. but it was a last minute life trick. "i apologize for my anger. i just don't like death. with death comes stronger and more powerful enemies. and i would prefer to just have a couple.." ED-E couldn't say the last word.

He watched the little countdown. he sensed a little disturbance from it. it reminded him of a couple things, but he was ok with it for now.
