Tired and Bored

I sat atop the roof of the apartment building I was staying at, my legs swinging over the side. It was early and I couldn't sleep at all. I would've gone to the bar but It was still pretty early and I didn't feel like putting on nicer clothes than a big t-shirt and jean shorts. I sighed and lifted my hand above my head, stretching. " Ce la vie." I muttered bitterly.

Simone was flying around as an eagle, feeling bored. looking down, he saw Mary on the roof of a building, and swooped down to her, changing to human form as he landed. "Hey Mary. what are you up to?"

I blushed slightly and smiled when I saw Simon. I stood up and shrugged my shoulders. "Nothing much. You?" I asked, tilting my head to the side, all the while smiling sweetly at him.

Simone smiled, plopping down next to her. "I've been um... spying on the Doom. noone ever suspects a fly." Simone grinned further as her got comfortable, putting an arm around Mary. "Apparently, Ophelia's mobilizing. I don't know why, but it looks like there's going to be another fight soon. I think she's going to try to amass an attack againt those Templar people..."

i sat back down and rested my head against his shoulder. I sighed hearing about the fight that might ensue.Fighting and that damn women who got Lilith scarrred always seemed to be the topic of interest. " I hope they don't fight. This place has enough violence as it is." I murmered in response.

"Agreed." Simone said. Gently, the conduit stroked the girl's cheek with his hand. "I think we should hit her now, while she' in her territory, where there are less civilians." Simone sighed. "I know you don't want violence, but seeing as it's inevitable, I want it to be where the loss of life is minimized."

I blushed slightly and closed my eyes. " Nothings diplomatic anymore." I muttered under my breath.But it's not like I could expect any better. I sighed and kissed his cheek. " So how have you been love? Anything new?" I asked, raising an eyebrow in question.

Simone blushed at the kiss. "Well, I gained the ability to turn into a dragonfly. quite useful if I need to dodge a lot of things. don't ask how long it took to catch it. it took awhile." Simone gently tipped Mary's head to his. "and how are you, my dear?"

I chuckled at his story and rolled my eyes. He would do something like that. " I'm fine. Can't sleep though. I haven't in a while." I responded taking his free hand in mine.
