| ConduitsConduits are people who have gotten superpowers from either the Ray Sphere blast, or a different tragic event sometime in their lives. Conduits usually control one element of things (i.e. Cole MacGrath, the main character of the inFamous series, controls lighting.) So, here is the form for a conduit. Name: Klein Alias: The Master Gender: Male Power: Unknown levels of intelligence, deteriorated immune system (not that it's a power; due to a plothole, this cannot be cured), any equipment built into his rocket chair. Weapons, equipment, etc.: - Flight: He's in a rocket chair, right?
- Kinesis: Over the shoulders protrude two small, manually-controlled turrets that fire "tractor beams" similar in appearance to light-red lightning (like Infamous Cole's in inFamous 2). Hold up to 1.5 tonnes of weight each, but can only be used for a few seconds if used simultaneously.
- Paralysis: Above Klein's head is a round turret that lightly pulls chemical energy (nuclear, electrical- whatever they use) from one or multiple targets, to an extent that they are likely too tired to continue any combat (or heavy lifting) until the beam stops. Alternatively, it could fire Anti-Rayacite molecules that work similarly to exposure to Tainted Shards, since it is. Cannot be used in conjunction with other attacks.
- Shield: By modulating the electro-weak and gravitational forces, Klein is able to protect himself at will from low-effort attacks without recharge and high-effort attacks with up to a ten-second recharge, up to but not including city block-busting attacks and weapons.
- JHP Turrets: When used, two square prism-shaped, rapid fire guns on stalks pop out on the sides of Klein's chair (with three ballpoint hinges each). They fire heavily jacketed hollow point bullets at 10 rounds per second, have 120 rounds per magazine, and reload in 0.4 seconds upon being "holstered".
- Teleporter: Simply used to travel to and from his chamber, the Inner Sanctum, on the Institute space station. Takes up to two seconds depending on the range.
- Rockets: At will, two 3x5x2 groups of cylos pop out from the top corners of Klein's chair. The rockets are remote-controlled and produce RPG-size explosions. Six shots per reload, ten seconds to reload.
- Pulse: 2-inch-wide barrels normally concealed by doors can flip out of either armrest. They fire blue energy projectiles that create an explosion in the direction they are fired upon hitting a target. They are capable of leveling a house in just a few shots, but are slow to fire and cost a lot of power, so they are rarely used on lightly or unarmoured opponents, and are NEVER fired at the same time.
Alliances (select one of the groups shown below): The Institute Brief History: Klein is extremely old. Some believe that he has been traveling between timelines for more than a century of his personal timeline. They are correct. Some say that he designed the original Ray Sphere. They may be correct. Some say that he was granted omniscience by the Ray Field. They may not be correct. Maybe. I've yet to meet one who can outsmart him. The Master owns the Institute, a research company that once was owned by the First Sons. Klein, then referred to by the name Klein, mostly splintered it from the organization. It has been used to develop "new" technology meant for observation. Rumor has it that they've been building a space station with identical interior features to a ground building. That information is outdated. It has already been completed, and the majority of the company has been moved inside. Little more than a small portion of its security force is still on Earth. Appearance: Klein is really a matchstick of a human. If one were to find him asleep, they might think he was dead for years. Due to this, but mainly for protection from antigens and injury, he is always enclosed in a vaguely humanoid, gunmetal case with a green-tinted plexiglass window for his eyes. His chair is the same colour and texture with the above-mentioned equipment. At the center of the bottom, there are seven small, blue-white flames that don't produce much smoke for propulsion. Voice: Clockwerk Karmic Rank: Neutral Personality: Klein prefers to avoid having an impact on the state of any timeline besides his own, as his mission is to observe the timeline, not to save or destroy it. Concurrently, he is impartial toward any side of a war, any epidemic, pandemic, or "apocalypse", and any sort of cosmic disturbance in the universe...unless it affects the entire multiverse, or beyond. There is always a chance that Klein can be convinced to intervene, as the evasion of an effect on the timeline is a preferrence, not a rule, and he sometimes does interact with certain people, creatures, etc for...experiments. Klein generally acts and sounds emotionless. Morals don't usually get him to help people of this timeline, nor does he lack them enough to attack them whenever he wants to. As implied, the Master is extremely intelligent, having built guns with the same technology as particle accelerators, power armor capable of withstanding anti-tank weapons, and even the Institute space station's security array (complete with Peace Beams and the Monitor) to name a few achievements. | |
