Balthazaar paced back and forth in front of the First Sons soldiers, ticking his head. "So let me get this straight," He started, his voice sounding like his throat is full of mucus and hard to talk through, making his voice almost gravelly and rough.
"You lost my niece because she hit you over the head with a wrench. Shot at you with a weapon you gave her, and ran away with a blast core the size of my head?!"
He stopped and looked at them, his dull blue eyes flashing in anger.
"S, sir she caught us off guard," one of the soldiers stammered, shaking in fear.
"What was that?" He went over to the soldier and stood in front of him. He grabbed his gas mask and leaned forward. "Once more, soldier."
The other soldiers gripped their weapons tightly, all just as afraid if not more for the one who had spoken. "S.." The soldier swallowed. "She caught us off-"
In that moment Balthazaar ripped his gas mask from his face and held the soldier by the throat. The soldiers eyes rolled back and he spasmed as violent, painful symptoms rocked his body and turned the whites of his eyes yellow.
Balthazaar stepped over his thrashing form and paced back to the rest of the soldiers. "I want Ari Stilles Found and kidnapped unharmed and brought back to me immediately, IS THAT CLEAR?!"
"SIR, YES, SIR!"
He watched the soldiers scatter as one helped the thashing one to the medical facility.

Judas had been watching the scenario from some ways away, shaking her head at the soldiers and Balthazaar. After the rest of them scurried off, she approached him, walking over slowly. "Morons, the lot of them, eh?" She said, referring to the soldiers and their idiocy. She shook her head calmly.

Balthazaar sighed in exasperation as the sexy woman approached him. He knew her abilities well and if she started to come too close he kept his distance. He didn't trust a woman with breasts that big. "What is it Judas?" He sighed and went to pour himself some coffee, he rested up against the counter and looked at her. "Orders from up high?"

Judas shook her head, leaning against a wall and taking a deep breath. "Nope. Just came down here to relax for a bit. Maybe strike up a conversation with someone." She said calmly. She tilted her head to the side ever so slightly, then yawned, using a hand to cover her mouth.

"Long week?" He grunted, sliding her a cup of coffee as he'd known she took it, just a little cream and lots of sugar. He'd only seen her take it a few times black. He drank his coffee, his aura enough to make anyone feel nauseous with his irritated state. "I just can't believe they allowed her to escape."

"Thank you." Judas said, taking the coffee and sipping it. "It's been rather tiring, yes. I've been all over the place recently. It's a little annoying. And slightly tiring." She said, sighing. "One thing I've learned through my time here is that it's not smart to leave anyone dangerous or important with the soldiers. Bumbling fools they are."

Lieutenant Surge stormed toward the hangar, coming from the infirmary. After seeing a man with his gas mask ripped off thrashing about and the subordinate carrying him making it clear that there was no attack, he did not even bother asking what had actually happened. He knew exactly who the traducer was, as this had happened several times in the past.

"Stilles!" Austin called in a rather agitated manner. Upon reaching the break area of the hangar, he scowled at Balthazaar, paying no attention to the prostitutive agent. "Do you know how much penicillin your rampant aggressions waste?" He quietly took a deep breath. "What happened?" He knew very well that Balthazaar would exasperate him further with his rebellious, cavalier attitude, and he was by now very prepared to exert penalty upon any sign of insubordination.

"Come off it Surge." Balthazaar spat, drinking his coffee and crossing his arms. "They lost my niece in the middle of the fucking city. The medic is lucky I didn't place the plague on their entire fucking squadron and leave the temporarily out of commission." He set his cup down and walked close to Austin, looking him up and down. Balthazaars breath smelled of death, rancid with illness and a distinct scent of puke. It was an unfortunate side effect of his abilities, and a taste he could never get out of his mouth.
"Maybe if your fucking soldiers possessed more than two brain cells they could hold down one civilian girl and keep her from harm. Now she's alone, out on the streets, and probably scared. My brother is dead, Surge. She's all I got. If you think a sick soldier is a problem," He chuckled, a slight crazed look in his eye. Being up close Austin could see where his skin was dry, cracked and puss seeped through on the corner of his lips. "I'll tear this whole fucking development apart if I have to."

Judas sighed and shook her head, continuing to try and relax. She sipped her coffee and tried to ignore the quarrelling of the seemingly adult males. She just laid back against the wall, crossed her arms, and waited to see what came next. She hoped she wouldn't have to break up a fight or anything. Judas was afraid Balthazaar might try and give her breast cancer.

Austin just kept himself from grimacing upon seeing Stilles' face in detail and smelling his putrid breath. He turned halfway away and sighed out of his nose once he had finished monologuing, trying to decide how he would respond to all that. And then he whipped around and gave him a solid hook to his left temple.
He did that for two reasons: a) He was sick of Balthazaar's condescending rambling. It gets very irritating when, day after day, some one consistently babbles about their own problems, pretending he doesn't know pain or despair. b) It was very clear that Balthazaar felt he had power, that he was a threat to the First Sons. Balderdash. He had been in their force for so long that even an average outpost was plenty prepared for any disease he could scrape together. Even without that, he could be shot dead by any armed grunt knowing they wouldn't be punished for self-defense. Surge was giving a sub-textual message: You are not in control. We could easily kill you and replace you in a day. Do not try anything as foolish as that.
And now his verbal response. "I don't care if your entire family was murdered and you were forced to live in a vacuum chamber," the commander boomed in a calm yet stern voice. "Nothing short of a mental disorder or self-defense justifies attacking an operative."
Austin straightened his posture. His tone lightened. "Mind you, those bodyguards were directly under your jurisdiction. If you want Ari's security team to have better reflexes than a drunken rhinoceros caught in a black hole's event horizon, then why don't you enhance it yourself. Have them trained. Replace them for all I care. Don't pretend I was sitting in my office, twiddling my thumbs while you were out on a life-threatening search expedition."
He breathed deeply again. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be arranging a meeting that will hopefully clean up your mess."
He turned around and paced back into the hallway, grumbling,"Although, I have enough evidence to get you demoted several times."

Balthazaar fell, holding the side of his head. Where he'd been punched the skin had scraped off easily and Austins hand had bits and pieces of the torn flesh on it, and the maggots that crawled within. Gritting his teeth, Balthazaar shook the maggots from his wound that came up and sat up as Surge walked away. He'd known they were there already, flies laying eggs in his constantly decomposing body. The flesh that remained there sagged lifelessly as they crawled all over it.
"I could say the same for you! Allowing that Haruka girl to escape!" He smirked. He'd kept it secret as a favor to Surge. They had been faking test results until Haruka was able to return, and he knew all about it thanks to a little fly.
