Candy Cancellation

War walked into the spartans training room with Gabriel by her side. Gabe was cool, and calm, much like his favorite teacher. Like him, she didn't have any significant or special powers. Well, He did, but it was nothing like the others could do. While some teachers were frightened of his lineage, of the father that wanted to destroy the conduits, War didn't care. She liked this kid.

"We're meeting Randell here today," War said softly, sitting down on the bench. With her, her two toddlers gently nuzzled against her breast. Juliette defiantly trying to push Pan away to have more of her mothers chest to herself. Gabriel picked up Pan to bounce him for War as she readjusted herself.

"Is this a test?" Gabe asked, his red eyes narrowed suspiciously at his mentor. War crossed her legs and set Juliette down on the ground with some of her toys.

"In a way," War stated sharply. She looked at her pupil and softened her tone, hushed. "Mostly this is just a sparring match, but it would be a good idea to see where you are with your abilities." She took Pan back and stroked his head of dark brown hair gently.

Randall walked into the room, looking calmer than usual, his hair clean and non-sticky for once. The tattoo underneath his eye still there as always. He walked straighter than normal as he entered the room. "Alrighty, I have arrived. Shall we begin this sparring match or whatever?" He asked in his usual eccentric fashion. That was one thing about Randall that remained normal at the time. Although outside he looked calm, he was actually rather excited to have a chance to spar with Gabe. He never had a chance to previously.

War waved her hand and rubbed Pans back, her eyes soft as her toddler sleepily clung to her. "Bed mama..." Pan murmured as she held him close to her. War murmured sweet things to him gently as laid his head to her breast and began to doze off, some Tar coming out of the side of his mouth when he drooled. 

"Yeah, lets get started." Gabe smiled at Randall and stood up. His black suit was on that held tight to his skin. Unlike Jawbreaker over there, Crusade was much more nimble with his movements. He took a rod from his boot and extended it fully. The Staff stood at about Crusades height and he got into position. "Think you can take me?"
(why is there no red on the color pallette? geez)

Juliette toddled over to Randell when then got into position. Then she hugged his leg tightly. "Candy!" She declared, squeezing her slit-pupiled eyes shut. She knew EXACTLY what Randell had and she wasn't about to let him get away without giving her something.

Randall was ready to fight 20 minutes ago, fists up and body tensed appropriately. "Take you? I could kick your butt facing backwards with a limp." He grinned, then stopped when he looked down at Juliette. "Ah. You've caught the candy fairie, have you? Here, you earned it." Randall gave her a lollipop and a few gumdrops. "Alrighty then, leggo a' my leg, mkay?" He kinda lightly shook his leg so as to give her the indication to move. Randall felt his other pockets. He assumed he had enough candy to hold him through the fight, but he wondered if he'd be able to fight without using so much candy. He wanted to prove himself without relying on his powers.

Gabe waited with a smile as Juliette toddled back to her mother with a triumphant smile and a lollipop hanging from her long tongue. Unlike her brothers tongue it didn't section off into several tentacles, it was just longer than normal. Wars legs were crossed and Pans head lay on her thigh as he slept with his thumb in his mouth. Juliette pulled herself up on the opposite side of her mother, watching the fight. She loved this stuff.
"Begin." War called out, shifting her attention to her daughter and braiding her pale blonde hair. 

Gabe began. He rushed in quietly at Randell and struck his staff directly at where the Jawbreaker stood. His speed had improved greatly over the years.

Randall, despite all the candy he was eating, hadn't been slouching much himself. With a quick motion, he rolled away from the staff, rising and throwing a peppermint into his mouth. 'Okay. I have to think. Ice. Can be used to immobilize. Need to find right position.' He rushed at Gabe without thinking about it for much too long before making a jump and aiming, breathing cold air at the backs of his legs and his feet. His mind raced, thinking of solutions to the situation if it did work, and some for even if it didn't work. Randall was actually amazed at his own thought processing.

Crusades legs were stuck to the ground but that didn't deter him. He twisted his body around and looked at where Randell had jumped from, then stuck his staff down where Randell would land on it and possibly bruise or even break a rib. If that had happened then Gabe would flip the staff over with Randell on top of it, and throwing him onto the ground.
He concentrated then an with a small booming sound, the ice on his feet broke. His Aura, what was the main component of his cancellation, leaped from his body like a small echo which was what had broken the ice. He smirked down at Randell.

"Agh!" Was Randalls' only reaction to Gabriel's assault. He lay on the ground, hand on his stomach. "Ow, ow, sailor words, ow." He didn't entirely enjoy cursing, especially around the young children. He got up to his feet just in time to watch Gabriel break his ice. "Riiiight. Cancellation. That happens." He facepalmed a bit, before giving up on that and charging at Gabriel with all sorts of piss and vinegar, shooting shards of ice at him to distract Gabriel from the fist that was being launched at him at the same time.

War watched, and quietly left the room holding pan and escorting Juliette by the hand. She had some things to do aside from watch them fight... she had promised the twins a night in the park.

Crusade used this staff to block the ice shards as quickly as humanly possible, he walked backwards as he did. Then he tripped over his own feet and as he lost balance he dropped his staff and shot out his hands. His Aura pushed out and made a forcefield, stopping the ice shards in midair.
