Bad Movies and other things (reaper-chan, ex-kun)

"You're too good for him Rose, I believe in you." Cory mumbled, staring intently at the TV screen as the awful RomCom movie played. Wrapped up in a blanket with a bucket of popcorn, she was living the life; of course cuddling would have been nice too but someone had been acting weird lately. The apartment had gotten a lot better now that they had wifi and some sense of normality had been recovered in the city. And she had Haven living with her and somewhat sporadic visits from Alexa which were nice too. Nothing really crazy had happened in a while and she hoped it stayed that way.

Dear God the sexual tension in the apartment had just about reached its peak, and Haven was starving. He sat in his room, his eyes red with his hunger and he paced back and forth. He knew if he drank from her now he would totally just ravage her but what if she wasn't ready for it? What if he hurt her or worse, she didn't want it? He felt like a caged beast ready to take its prey on one hand and on the other the beast tamer. And the Tamer was losing. He let out a hiss. Maybe he should just ask her?
A hole in the wall opened up and Sena fell through with some guy that bore similarities to Gary Oak. She fell on her face and she smiled at Haven. "Brrrruuuuuuhhhh!!!" She stood up, or tried to, and fell down again, this time on top of her brother. Haven caught her, temporarily putting sex out of his mind and set her down beside him.
"Alexa? What's going on, your acting weird..." He looked over as the portal closed. "Who are you?"

Danny was still in shock as to what happened. And to make matters worse, her brother was the most muscular man he had ever seen. " Nuh nobody, uh, you don't need to mind I justm uh where I am I?" He stuttered out, sweating and shaking. He was scared shitless and had no way of knowing what would happen terrified him. What if Sena told him that he drugged her! He could probably cover with the fact she was in pain but heroine? Really? That wouldn't go well, so Danny began constructing a lie. "I uh, don't know how I got here, I just fell through a shadow!" He dropped the bottle labeled "Conduit blood" and a syringe. 'Fuck' he thought to himself, closing his eyes tightly and shrugging.

Cory slowly paused her movie at the sound of the thump coming from Havens room. She looked back to her movie then back to his room then back again. Do I really want to go in there? At the sound of voices she sighed and quietly waddled over to Havens door still wrapped in the blanket. Underneath she only had a big shirt and some tiny pajama shorts on and it was too cold to walk around as she was. "Is everything alright in there?" she asked, lightly knocking on the door. She had become very hesitant in walking into rooms without knocking.

Haven went over and opened the door as Alexa swung happily and giggled. The guy just kinda seemed ready to piss his pants. "Cora... Someone's dropped by for a visit it would seem."
He went directly over to the man, not thinking about how intimidating he looked. He was quite close to him so he had to look down at him. "You smell of drugs, alcohol and back alleys. You shouldn't be afraid to claim you're homeless." He folded his arms. "We could give you a place to stay."
He then glanced at the vials marked 'conduit blood' but he said nothing. He only looked down at this man incredulously.

Danny was, of course, offended. He did have a home, but nothing to this extent. His old home was a broken down apartment with minimul rent needed, but it was a good place to hide a lab because no one looked as though they lived there. But this could work too, and give him an Empire City headquarters to sell more, he could dezl to the reapers here. "Uh, not homeless bu, uh but I could use a place to stay til I figure out uh, how to get home. Heh uh, thanks?" He grabbed the bottle of blood and put it in his pocket. They syringe stayed on the ground.

Cory's eyes widened a bit at the sight of the stranger and Alexa as there was no window or air vent in the room, but nevertheless she waved and smiled politely at both of them. Nobody was trying to kill each other yet so the night was off to a good start. She waddled over to Alexa and stood near her, watching Haven converse with the stranger. At the mention of him staying Cory walked over to the two men . " Well we have a guest room you can stay in if you'd like. I'll have to get you some bed sheets and the likes though." she offered, smiling at the stranger. She glanced around the room before adding," Would any of you like something to drink, or eat? I made Popsicles today that are pretty good."

Haven picked up the syringe, then his pupils slitted and he looked at Alexa. Then back to Danny.

"... Cora dear... could you take Alexa into the other room for a moment? I need to speak with this kind young man."

Alexa stumbled over to Cora and hugged her, giggling and pointing at her hand. "Look, he fixed it!"

"I guess that means I don't get a popsicle." Danny shrugged his shoulders and made a pitiful attempt at laughter. He rested his hand in his oversized coat pocket and gripped his pistol. It was already cocked so he didn't have to worry about making noise with it. "Uh, s-sir. What do you want to talk about?" He waved goodbye to the heroine filled Alexa waving her broken wrist in the air. that probably didn't help. He gulped and was breathing harder, his mouth was dry and he could barely speak. He was probably frozen with fear, but he hadn't tried moving.

"Sure, babe." Cory replied, looking warily at the stranger before exiting the room with Alexa. She had seen that look before and was not going to stick around to see what it entailed. A vine closed the door as they made their way out of the room and into the kitchen. " So, uh, what is up with the guy? " she asked, setting Alexa down in a chair before sitting down herself."You sure you don't want anything to drink?" Cory asked, looking over Alexa and frowning a bit.

"I'm really itchy, are you itchy?" Alexa scratched at her arm before picking up a knife. She looked at it with dialated pupils "Hey I bet I can do the knife thing like the guy from Aliens!"

Haven stared down at the smaller man, and his pupils became a diamond shape that took up his blue iris's. "My sister has been clean... for a long time now. Free from drugs. I know that she wouldn't easily slip back into it, even to deal with the pain of a broken wrist." The ex marine grabbed the front of Dannys shirt and stared into his eyes.

The feeling of suffocation that would come over Danny would be overwhelming. The tension and discomfort of claustraphobia, the sound of dirt being shoveled over a hollow wooden box....

Danny began to cry. All the walls grew around him, the doors and window lifting off the ground and seemingly a hundred feet up, with no way of scaling the walls. This was Hell. "Danny dropped to the ground crying. "This is it, isn't it. He lay on his back staring at the ceiling that seemed to be miles away. "I'm sorry about your sisters problem man, I'm sorry but." He couldn't finish his sentence, Danny broke down and cried harder, he pulled the gun from his pocket. "This is it this is it." He put the barrel against his temple and whimpered.

The gun was gently lifted away from him. Havens eyes faded into a soft blue once more and he held Danny up, staring at him quietly. Danny was on the floor, crumpled from the trance and in Havens lap. Haven used a tissue to gently blot away the tears, surprisingly gentle for his size.

"If you dare run away from me, or DARE to stick a needle into my sister or anyone around me again... I will not hold back next time." He stared down at Danny.

"No, I'm not itchy." she replied quietly. Cory eyes widened significantly and she snatched the knife out of Alexas hand. She definitely should not be playing with knives in her state. Cory held the knife in her lap and glanced at the room and then back to Alexa. "I am positive you can but you don't want to wake Blade now do you?" she replied quickly with a smile that appeared a tad too forced. Her smile faltered at the sound of crying and she sat back in her chair and sighed. " It always gets a little harder sometimes." she murmured, not really sure if Alexa had heard her.

Danny sniffled and nodded, leaning out of his lap, leaving the gun in Haven's hands, He crawled to a corner of the room and just sat in silence, facing outward, staring at the door to make sure it didn't move again. His vision was blurred with tears, until he "wiped his nose" and popped a few sleeping pills. Normal ordinary ones, so he would be awake for a little bit, but pass out eventually.

Haven got up and walked out of the door, closing it mostly but leaving it somewhat open. His eyes returned to their hungry red and he came out.

"Cora, how is she?" He asked worriedly as she played space-ship with a whisk.

Cory glanced up at him and let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding. She set the knife back on the table and smiled a tiny bit. " Out of it but nothing too serious. She seems to have hurt her wrist and she got a few cuts and scrapes but nothing a few bandaids and time can't take care of. She should be fine in the morning." she replied, glancing at Alexa and then back to Haven. Though she did love having people over at the apartment she was not exactly jumping for joy right now. She looked at the door to Havens room and then up at him." So, uhm, what is going on with the stranger?" she asked quietly, tugging at her fingers.

"Had to teach him a lesson. He drugged Alexa, probably to fix her wrist. He was also carrying this." Haven handed Cora the gun Danny had dropped. "He's going to be staying with us for a while." He glanced at his sister and sighed. His room was taken up for now by Danny until he came down from the fear high. That meant staying in the same room as Cora for a while... being near her heartbeat without at least a wall to block out the sound... he found himself staring at her neck.

Cory gingerly held the gun and turned the safety on before setting it on her the kitchen table. " I noticed." she replied, glancing at Alexa again at the mention of the drugs. Housing a narcotic did not sound like the smartest thing in the world but she trusted Haven. She sighed and nodded her head before standing up and leaving her blanket on the kitchen chair. "Alright then. Alexa can stay in the guest room like before and you can bunk with me." She lightly smiled up at him and placed a hand on his cheek. Her eyes widened a bit in surprise at the sight of how red his eyes were. "Hey, do you need to drink?" she asked softly, running her thumb across his cheek gently.

At the mention of a drink Haven moaned slightly and his body shivered. He looked away and stuffed his shaking hands into his pockets. "I'm afraid I'll hurt you," He whimpered. He couldn't even look at her anymore, her scent filled his nostrils and his fangs poked at his bottom lip painfully.
Alexa passed out in the kitchen, holding the whisk like a teddy bear. "She won't stay long. She'll just rest here for a bit... She never did like to rely on me so much."

Cory blushed and quickly lowered her hand from his cheek, frowning. Sure he had been avoiding drinking from her for a bit but she didnt think it would get this bad; She didnt reply to his assertion that he could hurt her though. Cory sighed and looked over to Alexas sleeping form. "Well she can stay as long as she needs. " She said, smiling slightly. Cory grabbed her blanket and placed it over Alexa as a vine closed the small window above the sink; she didn't want her getting burned if the sun came up before she woke. Cory stood infront of Haven,placing a hand on his arm as she looked up at him. " You can't keep avoiding drinking babe. It's not good for you. " she murmured, staring pointedly at him. " What's really bothering you?"

Haven looked at her and licked at his fangs, panting and blushing. He couldn't take it anymore, his eyes turned completely red and he grabbed her roughly. He sank his teeth into her neck, his muscles rippling as he picked her up and put her legs around him. Impulse and need took over and it was all he could do not to tear her neck to shreds as he drank from her.

His hands ran over her ass as he held her up against him.

Cory yelped in surprise as he bit her, her face turning bright red. A whimper escaped her lips when he bit her but the pain wasn't what was bothering her. She bit her lip to stifle a moan as she wrapped her legs tighter around his waist. Her arm wrapped around his neck for support while the other clutched at his back.

Growling, Haven carried her into her bedroom, closing the door with a slam behind him. He pushed her against the wall and a hand went under her shirt to grab at her breasts. He drank from her deeply, licking at the blood and whimpering desperately. He moved his mouth from her bleeding neck to kiss her deeply, some of her blood still on his tongue.

Cory was a mess, moaning and clutching at his trench coat in a weak attempt to get it off him. It had been three years way too long to have been waiting for this. Really, she didnt forget her towel that often, or cut her finger by accident while cooking. She kissed him deeply, her hand tangling itself in his hair and roughly pulling him closer, tasting blood but to far gone to care. She pulled away for air only to leave a trail of kisses down his jawline.
