Rules for the PTD ((Power Transfer Device))

How the PTD works in inFamous 2, the power will add some powers of one person, to the other. The other person did not get powers, but we overlook that here, and let both parties get some of each other's powers. The crucial difference is as follows: you only really get one power from the other party. The rest of your powers are then “flavored” with some of the effects of the other party's abilities. To make an example:

Say Thomas and Experiment 249 decided to use the Transfer Device on each other.

Thomas' sound attacks would be “Flavored” by either having clean, white snow (if positive karma) or dirty snow (if negative karma) in most of his sonic attacks, more as an aesthetic look to his sonic powers. Plus, his shockwaves become a little bit... cooler. ((pun intended)) An actual ice/snow power he could get would be either the ionic freeze, ice pillar, or ice grenade attacks. He only gets to pick one, though. In addition, he becomes more resistant to ice attacks.

249's attacks would have flavors in that his ice attacks would be at ear-splitting volume, and he himself would be resistant to sonic attacks. An idea of a totally sonic attack on his end would be a large shockwave that clears some space around him.

Another possible ((as in, whether or not the users with the characters getting the transfer device used on them wants it)) feature is that the power they get from the other party can be flavored by their original powers. ((249's shockwave has ice crystals/snowflakes.))

Note: in the examples, I had positive/negative karma effects on the appearance for Thomas' ice flavors, but none for 249. this is not meant as a discriminatory attempt against Experiment 249's selfnamed character. I simply don't know how sound can be changed aesthetically to reflect good/bad status. If anyone else has an idea for it, though, I'm happy to hear of it.

((note, I haven't actually brought this up to the other admins (sorry), so if they could post their opinion of these rules here, I'm cool.))

Maybe 249s music blasts would sound different.
With negative karma in a heavy metal style like a screamo
And positive karma a clean coherent rock song?

This is irrelevant, but am I the only one who thinks 249's sonic blasts should be, like, Christmas music?
