Brief History: Matt, growing up, was very strage child. Like most young children, he loved superheroes. Though he liked strage ones. He was facinated by The Riddler, The Kingpin, and most of all, The Question. But, this love never stopped. Through his teenage years, people called him 'gay' 'faggot' and 'nerd' among other things for loving superheroes. What little popuklarity he had spiraled downward, into the negative zone. Many refused to look at, as they refered to him as, 'The douce pickle'. But, thats what Matt wanted. He wanted to be unreconized. Being able to blend into a crowd without being noticed, being so un popular that any notion about him was usually forgotten within minutes of it being said. For, he had discoverd why he loved the superheros and villans so much. He felt it was his destiny to be one. Powers or not. He would be like the Question, finding things out before others knew. Beating the crap out of bad guys. Bringing his mask glory. So, he set to work, relentlessly training with various weapons, and crafting his costume. About a half a year into this process, the thing happend. People turned into coundits and all. But, unfazed, Matt coninued. He finished his costume, and he felt his training was complete. He would now emerge onto the streets, a new Hero-The Darkness.

Appearance: Matt his long-ish pitch-black hair. He has white skin, and sea green eyes.He has a fairly muscular build, the body of an acrobat. He likes wearing jeans,and does so often.(Costumed form:He wears two layers of kevlar, complete with stab plates. Over this he wears a long-sleved black shirt, with a white moon on it. He wears a black full-mash over his face. he wears black sweatpants, and a fire-retarant black cape.)
Personality:
Matt is very dark and brooding. He just doesn't get along with people. He usually keeps to himself, unless he has to work with a team. He doesn't like others that much and knows that he can't trust anyone. He usually sits alone in his room, meditating, and practicing martial arts. He usually has a 'today is good day to die' attitude. He does not fear death. He is very willing to give his life to a good cause. He has come to terms with his mortality but he knows that when he dies he will go out fighting. Even though he's not a people person, he tries to protect whoever he can. He also pushes himself to hard.He also has a strong sense of right and wrong
